They want to help spread kindess through the delivery of Valentinegrams. Each student will be given a Valentinegram they can send to someone at school, and if they choose can send more.
We invite parents to participate by sending a valentinegram too. Simply pick up a valentinegram during parent/teacher conference week and drop it off. The stand 4 kind team will take care of getting them all delivered in time for Valentine’s Day.

Tomorrow (Tuesday, January 13th) there will be a construction crew at Highland to repair a burst water line. This will necessitate some changes to our morning drop-off. The drop-off area in the parking lot will be reduced drastically to allow for construction vehicles. We encourage you to utilize the bus zone drop-off area (be courteous to the buses and others). Because it is a small area for drop-off please be aware that you will not be able to park or wait, it will be a stop, drop, and keep on rolling situation.
Should this repair go into the afternoon we will send out alternate instructions for pick-up, though most likely those students who normally wait near the dumpsters will need to wait near the flag pole.
See the image to see exactly where the construction zone is and how much of the area will need to be blocked off.
Thanks for your assistance and patience as we all work together.

- Join us on Tuesday for the PTA meeting at 10AM.
- Thursday is Acadeince testing: Reading for students in grades 4-6 and math for students in Kindergarten and 1st.
- Don't forget to wear your school swag on Friday to show your school spirit.
Please add Monday the 19th to your calendar. There will be no school in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

If we have an inside morning the Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders go to the lunchroom. The 4th, 5th, and 6th graders go to the gym. They will wait in these areas until the first bell rings.
