As we say goodbye to October and hello to November, take a minute to check out our latest edition of Highland Happenings. There's always fun and exciting things happening at Highland.

Thank you so much for your support of our impromptu Food Drive - we were able to provide over four barrels full to Tabitha's Way. We have had several parents ask about continued donations to support students/families at our school. At Highland we have a Wee Care foundation account. Funds donated to this account are used to pay off school lunch balances or support students or families in other ways. If your family or someone you know is in need please reach out to the office - we have a variety of resources of support.

Don't forget that time changes this weekend! Turn your clocks BACK one hour on Saturday night.

We look forward to seeing all of our students back on Monday in the morning light (instead of the dark) and after they get to sleep off the candy rush of Halloween.

Happy Halloween and Happy Weekend!

Tabitha's Way is having a community wide food drive, and we at Highland are looking to help. With the anticipation that SNAP benefits will not be available starting November 1st, Tabitha’s Way is expecting to support a larger number of people than usual. We will be collecting items this week. If you can provide any of the items on their suggested list or other non-perishable food items, please donate them in the main entry of the school. We will collect items until after the Halloween parade on Friday. If you have any questions please reach out to the office. Thanks for helping show the Tabitha's Way community that Highland cares.

This week is also Halloween. Classes will share individually plans for Halloween parties or activities. The school-wide Halloween Parade will be on Friday. See your email for more details about the parade.
