DID YOU KNOW?
Joining the PTA does NOT mean you have to volunteer every day.
In fact… you don’t even have to volunteer at all!
When you become a PTA member, you’re simply saying, “I believe in our kids, our school, and our community.”
Every membership adds another link to the chain that connects our families, teachers, staff, and students.
You can volunteer a little, volunteer a lot, or simply be a member and support from the sidelines. There’s a place for everyone in PTA!
Even volunteering in the classroom for parties is part of the PTA!
So if you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to join, but I just don’t have time to volunteer…” — JOIN ANYWAY!
Your membership matters. Your voice matters. YOU are part of our Highland community.
Join the PTA. Add your link to the chain.

We are so excited to welcome our kindergarten students today. Students will meet Ms. Brooke at the kindergarten playground this morning as they arrive. We will enjoy celebrating as they enter school the first time with their teachers Mrs. Lane and Mrs. Rios at their outside classroom doors.
Once the students are inside, the PTA invites the parents to join them in the lunchroom for Kleenex and Cookies. Come learn about Highland and how to get involved.
It's an exciting week - Kindergarten students start school tomorrow.
The first day of kindergarten is a BIG milestone for kids AND parents. To make the day a little easier for parents they are hosting Kleenex and Cookies tomorrow morning.
Drop off your students and head over to the lunchroom to get a cookie and learn about some of the ways you can get involved at the school and with the PTA.
